Joe joined Watson Millican & Co in 2025 after retiring from UOP LLC in 2023 as a Fellow in UOP’s Engineering Department. He has over 44 years of experience in process design and operations of processes related to light olefins, detergents and petrochemical technologies. Joe holds over 28 patents covering refining, light olefins, and petrochemical technologies.

- Investigated the cause of catalyst poor performance in an Oleflex unit to determine liability.
- Process design engineer for several large scale Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) units in the US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, including first 1000 KMTA unit in the Middle East
- Led engineering team for design and commercialization of novel Cryogenic Olefins Recovery Process
